Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TroubleSync collects, uses, stores and protects your information while providing AI-powered diagnostics, troubleshooting tools and community support services.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, including account information, profile information, submitted troubles, comments, replies and communications.
We may also collect technical information such as browser type, device information, your most recently used IP address, operating system, usage analytics and security-related events. Security events may contain a protected hash of an IP address, a user agent and information about the outcome of an authentication or security action.
How We Use Information
IP Addresses & Abuse Prevention
When you register or sign in, we store the most recent IP address associated with your account and the time it was recorded. Authorized administrators may view this information when investigating spam, fraud, unauthorized access, harassment or other misuse.
We may block an IP address from accessing our API when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users. An IP address can be shared by several people, and a block therefore does not establish the identity of a particular person or device. We do not use IP addresses to create a permanent device identifier.
We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in securing the platform, preventing abuse and enforcing our terms. The latest account IP is kept until it is replaced by a later sign-in or the account is deleted. An active IP-ban record is kept until the block is removed. Related security and administrative audit records may be retained longer where necessary for security, dispute handling or legal obligations.
You may contact support to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of this data, or to object to the processing. A request may be limited where retaining the information is necessary to protect the platform, exercise legal claims or comply with law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
AI Diagnostics
Troubles submitted with AI Diagnostics enabled may be processed using artificial intelligence systems to identify similar incidents, generate recommendations and improve platform functionality.
AI-generated suggestions are provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate. Users should independently verify recommendations before taking action.
